Dreaming into 2023
Dreaming into this year is about believing in my dream, investing in my self care and seeding dreams that feed innovation is what I plan to practice this year.
WELCOME TO MY DREAM JOURNAL
Dreams actualized for me looks like paying dreams forward for future dreamers.
Changing the world and living my dream is way more fun in good company. Taking you on this journey of walking in a parallel universe of consciousness and sharing my experience of being in space timelessly on the blockchain, is about letting go of expectations, sharing poetry and collaborating with a sense of possibility. There are always lessons to be learned and enjoying the process of transformational for me is living with an awareness that change is the one constant. I certainly have no expectation of perfection and know from experience we all make mistakes, but I choose to see the beauty, solutions and problems as opportunities for growth. One of my favorite quotes from Einstein sums up this choice:
“There are two ways to live your life, one is as if nothing is a miracle, the other is as if everything is a miracle.”
When I step back from focusing on minutia, I see light in others and love activating and interacting with their inherent goodness. On a deep level I experience the flow of life and human connection as poetic, which is why poetry is how I best express my inside out journey in community. It’s almost surreal how when you are good to yourself and good to others, things just seem to miraculously work out.
Operating from the place of, let’s leave this place as good as, if not better than we found it and showing up to fall in love with life everyday helps me embrace my inner voice with open-minded, informed optimism. Being the creators of our own destiny and choosing to believe and follow our dreams is a privilege and opportunity I do not plan to pass up on or waste. Designing better, more accessible and inclusive digital tools for web 3.0 and connecting with the experience of dreamers yet to activate or believe in their dreams is what excites me as a digital anthropologist paying hope and forward. Having the conversation with ourselves is half the battle, showing up to have the conversations on a global stage with others who also believe in realizing dreams is next level amazing. To me that looks like a balance of I’ll be true to me and you be true to you while we support each other’s thrival journey with reciprocal generosity. Reminding myself daily that nothing like this will ever be duplicated in quite the same way is humbling. I plan to do my best to show up with curiosity and appreciation for the magic of the moments that arise and embrace my co-with the flow approach, noting miraculous synchronicities and what they mean to me. I am aligned with my purpose of dreaming, ideating and designing with and for our children and living as if their children are watching. For younger generations to witness and learn, gain knowledge from and with us, understand our experiences, revisit our actual roadmaps, hear our stories and gain wisdom in their own time is an incredible gift our technological developments have provided us. Investing in building with intention, connecting with care and maintaining a sustained love for humanity and our planet feels like the best use of my time and energy—believing in dreams and helping others realize theirs as a way of life, across generations, is the part of this innovative residency design that inspires me the most.
